ArrivalStory:
In the summer of 2004 my grandfather was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer and only given 6-9 months to live. He went through treatments for months and in the spring of 2005 I decided to get a small dog to help possibly improve his quality of life and depression. He had lost his dog Bullet in 2003 due to joint issues so I knew a new pup would lift his spirits. It has and his name is Benji. My grandfather is still alive with prayer, medical intervention and BENJI! |

Likes:
Jumping,standing/walking on hind legs,chasing, being chased, chewing my toys, all kinds of treats, long walks,massages,tummy rubs,falling asleep in your lap or arms and KISSES!! |
Dislikes:
Fragrant dog sprays, the stale "free" treats at Petco and big dogs!! |
Favorite Toy:
Stuffed beagle...if any parts are left!! |
Tricks:
Stands/walks on hind legs and drags butt on command(this was achieved after the new soft Benefuls food gave him diarrhea and his butt was itching really bad..lol),sit and stays on command, stands up on hind legs without being told to put on favorite varsity jacket and other clothing!! |
