ArrivalStory:
I started working at the local humane society in 2003. Daisy was already there. She came in because her owners said they were moving. Well 2 days after she was turned in she had 7 puppies. Lots of people looked at her but did not take her. I had to put one of my other dogs to sleep and my other dog was lonely. Daisy had been at the shelter for over a year at that point and she was becoming one of the dogs on the been ther to long group. I decided that I should take her home. It was not her fault her owners did not spay her and then dumped her at the shelter. She deserved a good home. So after another attempt at finding her a home at an outreach and no luck she came home with me that night and has been with me ever since. |
